THE RAGGED PRIEST

Founded in 2007 on the British coast of Southend-On-Sea, The Ragged Priest started life as a humble Ebay store selling a mix

of vintage finds and hand picked treasures from car boot sales and textile recycling warehouses.

Growing ever popular this evolved into setting up shop with a concession in London’s, at the time, iconic Oxford

Circus Topshop where carefully selected vintage pieces turned to customisation, more specifically studding.

This process paid off when The Ragged Priest got it’s big break in 2012, when Rihanna hit Coachella in a pair of studded shorts.

Demand skyrocketed and the brand really started to come into its own. In 2013, with growing demand from online stores

such as ASOS & Zalando, we began to realize our vintage, one-of-a-kind business model was not one that we could scale.

With this in mind, our design team started developing our own collections and the brand hasn’t looked back since.

The Ragged Priest collections combine directional fashion pieces with their own unique spin on emerging trends.

While the brand has evolved considerably from creating one-off, customised pieces,

it stays true to its roots and maintains its original and authentic edge.
